রংপুরের কাউনিয়ায় ২০২৩-২৪ অর্থবছরে খরিপ-১ মৌসুমে কৃষি প্রণোদনা কর্মসূচির আওতায় ক্ষুদ্র প্রান্তিক চাষিদের মধ্যে আউশ ধান বীজ ও সার বিতরণ করেছে উপজেলা কৃষি বিভাগ।
সোমবার (০১ এপ্রিল) দুপুরে উপজেলা পরিষদের কৃষি অফিস চত্বরে সার ও বীজ বিতরণ কার্যক্রম উদ্বোধন করেন- উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার মো. মহিদুল হক।
এ সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন- উপজেলা পরিষদের মহিলা ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান মোছা. আঙ্গুরা বেগম, উপজেলা কৃষি কর্মকর্তা মোছা. শাহানাজ পারভীন সাথী, উপজেলা সমাজসেবা অফিসার মো. সামিউল আলম, উপজেলা খাদ্য নিয়ন্ত্রক সোহেল আহমেদ, উপজেলা মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা অফিসার এএসএম আরিফ মাহফুজ প্রমূখ।
বিনামূল্যে ১ হাজার ৯৫০ জন চাষির প্রত্যেককে ৫ কেজি আউশ ধান বীজ, ১০ কেজি এমওপি ও ১০ কেজি ডিএপি সার দেওয়া হয়।
